In addition to our Summer Day Camp, we host enrichment programs to enhance your child’s summer experience.
Whether their interests lie in academics or athletics, we have a program to suit every camper. All full-day summer programs include hot lunch in our air-conditioned cafeteria and a daily “cool off” period at our two highly supervised swimming pools. Relax knowing that your kids are safe and secure and having a blast during this one-week mini-camp session. Campers get to experience the very best of camp life - sports, games, arts and crafts and swimming (among other things)! Our highly qualified staff supervises the Mini-Camp Program, and the focus is on FUN! Mini-Camp also provides our first-time campers with the opportunity to begin camp in smaller groups. Ages 3-15 are welcome!
Ed Perpetua Tennis Academy
June 11-15, $475
Ed Perpetua Tennis Academy offers a highly specialized and quality tennis camp on the campus of Staten Island Academy. Ed has been instructing the game for more than 20 years and is an internationally ranked player. Beginners and advanced beginners will receive extensive instruction in fundamental stroke production and basic strategies. Fundamentals are reinforced in drills, fun games and in singles and doubles competition. Intermediate players will work on making shots more reliable and effective. Serve, net and baseline play will improve, and skills will be tested in singles, doubles and team competition. This is a fun way to begin the summers’ activities!
Engineering Using LEGO

We’re so excited to partner with Play-Well TEKnologies to bring this dynamic program to camp this summer! Open to campers entering Kindergarten – Grade 6, this program will teach engineering, math, technology and more, all while the kids are just having fun! Engineering Using LEGO is a 3-hour program that consists of an introduction, two projects and free time.
The program is designed to develop and enhance problem-solving and critical thinking skills, introduce the concepts and vocabulary of engineering, architecture and physics, and encourage creativity and self-expression. Space is limited in this program so early registration is recommended. You may choose to register for the 3-hour program only or add wrap-around summer camp to give your child a full day that includes swim, lunch, trips (for campers entering Grades 5 and 6) and much more.
