The Academy campus is open from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM on official school days.

All Upper School students, many participating in extracurricular activities, are permitted on campus once they check in with the Upper School office, security, their teacher, or coach. For students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8, the Academy offers an Extended Day program.

Extended Day Before School

Extended Day is a free service that allows students to arrive on campus as early as 7:00 AM. Students in Pre-K and Kindergarten report to the Early Childhood building, while students in Grades 1-4 report to the Patrick Commons where they are supervised by school staff.  Around 8:00 AM, they are escorted to their classrooms.  Students in Grades 5-8 report to the Patrick Commons, the cafeteria in Crowe Hall; they purchase breakfast before the school day begins.

Extended Day After School

After school, Extended Day begins at dismissal and ends at 7:00 PM. Quiet homework time is available, along with indoor and outdoor activities. All students will have the opportunity to purchase a snack on campus.

How It Works

All students are welcome at Extended Day. Parents must send a written request to the student’s classroom teacher or call the Lower School or Middle School office no later than 2:30 PM if they want their child to attend Extended Day. A completed Extended Day form must be on file.
