Milestones
- The Tigers amassed 7 championships during the course of the 2025-2026 school year.
- The Girls’ Varsity Softball team won the 2025 regular season and postseason championships in the PSAA, as well as the postseason championship in the ACIS.
- In the 2025 ISAL Swim Championship, Tiger swimmers earned a total of 28 medals, and in the ACIS Swim Championship, they accumulated another 12 medals.
- The Girls’ Varsity Basketball team completed an undefeated season in the ACIS during the 2024-2025 campaign, capturing the league’s regular season title and postseason championship in the process.
- 12 SIA athletes have been recruited to play either Division I, II or III athletics in college over the past 4 years.
- In Girls’ Tennis for the 2024 fall season, Mayuko P. ’27 earned the CHSAA Leadership Award, Jenna R. ’25 won the CHSAA Service Award, Jacinda F. ’25 claimed the CHSAA Senior Scholar Award, and Simone F. ’28 won the CHSAA Sportsmanship Award.
- Yuriko P. ’27 won her second consecutive CHSAA girls’ tennis singles title in the 2024 fall season
- Arden B. ’27 competed in the finals of the CHSAA girls’ tennis singles tournament.
- Senior Jacinda F. ’25 was a finalist in the CHSAA girls’ singles alternates tournament.
- Sarah B. ’28 and Simone F. ’28 captured the Staten Island Interscholastic Doubles title.
- Danny N. ’26 was named to the 2025 Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY) All-State Academic Team.
- The BCANY also recognized seniors Jesse K. ’25, Sean L. ’25, and Emma V. ’25 with the New York State Scholar-Athlete Award.
- The National High School Coaches’ Association recognized juniors Jayden A. ’26, Kali D. ’26, Ayden H. ’26, Gabriella M. ’26, Hailey P. ’26, Danny N. ’26, Shiv T. ’26, and Johan W. ’26 with Academic All-American honors.
- Meaghan K. ’28 earned the 2025 PSAA Regular Season Most Valuable Player award, leading her team to the league’s Western Division championship. Meaghan was also named the Most Valuable Player of the league’s postseason tournament, as she led the Tigers to the PSAA playoff crown.
- 10 Tigers earned PSAA all-conference honors during the 2024-2025 school year.
- Seniors Sean L. ’25 and Emma V. ’25 were nominated for the prestigious Varsity Club award, given to the top student-athletes from among all the high schools on Staten Island.
- Hailey P. ’26 received the school’s coveted Randall Award, and both Jayden A. ’26 and Danny N. ’26 won the prestigious Huus Award at the end of the year. These awards are given to the student-athletes who best demonstrate outstanding athletic ability, leadership, sportsmanship, and fair play.
