Here is a quick glance at some of their most recent successes on the courts and fields.
Recent Achievements
- The Tigers amassed 11 championships during the course of the 2026-2027 school year.
- 13 SIA athletes have been recruited to play either Division I, II or III athletics in college over the past 4 years.
- Davide P. '26 received the PSAA’s MVP award for the 2025 Boys’ Varsity soccer regular season.
- In Girls' Tennis for the 2025 fall season, Greta M. '29 earned the CHSAA Coaches’ Award, Kylie G. '28 won the CHSAA Service Award, Olivia B. '26 claimed the CHSAA Senior Scholar Award, Yuriko P. '27 won the CHSAA Sportsmanship Award, and Simone F. '29 won the CHSAA Varsity Tennis MVP.
- The Girls' Varsity Tennis team claimed the CHSAA Regular Season Championship in 2025.
- Angelina L. '26 and Greta M. '29 won the 2025 CHSAA Girls Varsity Doubles Championship.
- Sarah B. '28 and Greta M. '29 captured the 2026 Staten Island Interscholastic Doubles title. It was Sarah’s second consecutive time winning this championship.
- The Girls' Varsity Volleyball team earned the runner-up trophy in the 2025 Staten Island Borough President’s Cup Tournament.
- Alexis F. '29, Valentina L. '28, and Hailey P. '26 were named to the 2025 New Dorp High School Digging for a Cure All-Tournament team.
- In the 2026 ISAL Swim Championship, Tiger swimmers earned a total of 29 medals on their way to claiming the Girls Championship and the Overall Team Championship (boys and girls combined). In the ACIS Swim Championship, they accumulated another 7 medals.
- The Girls' Varsity Basketball team completed an undefeated season in the ACIS during the 2025-2026 campaign, capturing the league’s regular season title and postseason championship in the process.
- Danny N. '26 and Valentina L. '28 were named to the 2026 Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY) All-State Academic Team.
- The BCANY also recognized seniors Jayden A. '26, Ayden H. '26, Danny N. '26, Bella M. '26, Luke D. '26, Hailey P. '26, Shiv T. '26, Johan W. '26, and Skylar R. '26; junior Chloe F. '27, and sophomores Carly F. '27, Mike B. '27, and Valentina L. '27 with the 2026 New York State Scholar-Athlete Award.
- Alyssa L. '29, Valentina L. '28, Margaret M. '27, Rita M. '27, Gabe M. '27, Danny N. '26, and Luke D. '27 were selected to the 2026 BCANY All-Section team.
- The National High School Coaches’ Association recognized seniors Hailey P. '26, Danny N. '26, Shiv T. '26, and Johan W. '26 with 2026 Academic All-American honors.
- In the 2026 Girls’ Varsity Basketball Super Jam Tournament, Valentina L. '28 earned MVP honors, and Chloe F. '27 received the Scholar-Athlete award.
- Alyssa L. '29, Valentina L. '28, Gabe M. '27, and Luke D. '26 were named to the 2026 NYS Sportswriters Association all-state team.
- Alyssa L. '29, Valentina L. '28, and Danny N. '26 were selected to the 2026 Warren Jaques All-Star Team, one of the highest honors in SI high school basketball.
- Both Luke D. '26 and Danny N. '26 joined the prestigious 1,000 Point club for varsity basketball, eclipsing that mark during their senior campaign.
- The Girls' Varsity Softball team won the 2026 regular season and postseason championships in the ACIS, as well as the Joan A. Walsh Memorial Tournament.
- Jayden A. '26 earned the 2026 PSAA Regular Season Most Valuable Player award for Boys’ Varsity Volleyball.
- The Boys' Varsity Volleyball team claimed the regular season championship and the postseason title in the PSAA.
- Nick A. '26, Diego S. '26, Davide P. '26, Yuriko P. '27, Aiden V. '29, Johan W. '26, Jayden A. '26, and Audrey C. '27 earned PSAA all-conference honors during the 2025-2026 school year.
- Seniors Danny N. '26 and Hailey P. '26 were nominated for and subsequently won the prestigious Varsity Club award, given to the top student-athletes from among all the high schools on Staten Island.
- Kali D. '26 received the school’s coveted Randall Award, and Johan W. '26 won the prestigious Huus Award at the end of the year. These awards are given to the student-athletes who best demonstrate outstanding athletic ability, leadership, sportsmanship, and fair play.
- Danny N. '26 and Hailey P. '26 were selected by the SIA coaching staff as Athletes of the Year for the 2025-2026 school year.
Milestones

- The Girls’ Varsity Softball team won the 2025 regular season and postseason championships in the PSAA, as well as the postseason championship in the ACIS.
- In the 2025 ISAL Swim Championship, Tiger swimmers earned a total of 28 medals, and in the ACIS Swim Championship, they accumulated another 12 medals.

- In Girls’ Tennis for the 2024 fall season, Mayuko P. ’27 earned the CHSAA Leadership Award, Jenna R. ’25 won the CHSAA Service Award, Jacinda F. ’25 claimed the CHSAA Senior Scholar Award, and Simone F. ’28 won the CHSAA Sportsmanship Award.
- Yuriko P. ’27 won her second consecutive CHSAA girls’ tennis singles title in the 2024 fall season
- Arden B. ’27 competed in the finals of the CHSAA girls’ tennis singles tournament.
- Senior Jacinda F. ’25 was a finalist in the CHSAA girls’ singles alternates tournament.
- Sarah B. ’28 and Simone F. ’28 captured the Staten Island Interscholastic Doubles title.
- Danny N. ’26 was named to the 2025 Basketball Coaches Association of New York (BCANY) All-State Academic Team.
- The BCANY also recognized seniors Jesse K. ’25, Sean L. ’25, and Emma V. ’25 with the New York State Scholar-Athlete Award.
- The National High School Coaches’ Association recognized juniors Jayden A. ’26, Kali D. ’26, Ayden H. ’26, Gabriella M. ’26, Hailey P. ’26, Danny N. ’26, Shiv T. ’26, and Johan W. ’26 with Academic All-American honors.
- Meaghan K. ’28 earned the 2025 PSAA Regular Season Most Valuable Player award, leading her team to the league’s Western Division championship. Meaghan was also named the Most Valuable Player of the league’s postseason tournament, as she led the Tigers to the PSAA playoff crown.
- 10 Tigers earned PSAA all-conference honors during the 2024-2025 school year.
