Tuition includes:
- "Extended Day" for Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 8 each school day from 7:00 am - 8:10 am and 3:20 pm - 7:00 pm.
- Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 4: field trips, books, and supplies.
There are additional fees for school trips, school wardrobe, lunch, books, Continuation/Moving Up fees, AP exams and supplies not noted above.
Financing Education
- Financial needs should never discourage a family from applying for admission. We are committed to providing tuition assistance to ensure that our outstanding program is open to all qualified candidates. We are also committed to creating a community that is as socio-economically diverse as it is ethnically, spiritually, and racially diverse. Toward that end, we welcome applications from families in all income brackets.
Note: ALL families seeking financial aid must apply by December 31 for the following academic year.
Financial Aid
- Financial aid grants are available for students with demonstrated financial need as determined by information provided on the Clarity Application. Financial Aid is available for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12. Apply online at https://auth.clarityapp.com/en/login/
Payment Plans
Staten Island Academy offers the following payment plans for families:
- Pay in Full: Pay one installment, due by May 1 (2% discount is applied)
- Two-Payments: Pay in two installments, due on July 1 and December 1
- Monthly: Pay in 10 monthly installments, beginning May 1 and concluding on February 1
William Winter Scholarships
- Each year, hundreds of Staten Island and New York City-area students compete for the Staten Island Academy William Winter Scholarships, which includes admission to the Academy and scholarship assistance. Scholarships are open to students entering Grades 6 or 9 in September 2024. Students from all public, parochial, and private schools are eligible to participate.
- Awards are based on an examination, school transcripts, teacher recommendations, and a personal interview – not on financial need.

In the last decade there have been 26 recipients of a William Winter Scholarship and 73% of the scholars have gone on to attend an Ivy League College or a Most Competitive College as listed by Barron's Profiles of American Colleges.
