The Patrick Academic Resource Center is first and foremost, a resource center.

In addition to the direct services and accommodations to the students of Staten Island Academy, the PARC also provides information for faculty, staff and parents. Whether a faculty member needs to discuss a specific instructional method or approach, or wants to learn more information regarding a specific disability, our goal is to be a partner in that learning process so that both the learner and the faculty member feel supported. In addition, our hope is to help parents/guardians better understand their child’s condition so they can become more confidant advocates of their child’s needs and also partner with us in helping that child take more ownership of their learning needs as they develop and grow into young adults.
