"I'm most proud of deciding to stay at Staten Island Academy [for high school]. I don't think I would have been the person I am today if I hadn't stayed at the Academy. I was looking into other schools, and I felt like they had a sink-or-swim notion. I appreciated that they had a hard-working environment, but I wanted guidance. Staten Island Academy provided that, and the school really helped me discover who I am as a person." - Upper School student |

"I play for the soccer team, the basketball team, and [I used to play for] the baseball team. It's great being an athlete here. A lot of the teachers are the coaches of the teams, so you already have a connection with a coach before you play for them. And when you're involved in a team, all of your peers are supporting you. The whole community gets involved." - Upper School student-athlete |

"It's big. It has a big community. It's just a great school. We have good teachers, good opportunities. In some other schools, you're just by yourself, but here teachers are so helpful. They're always making school fun." - Middle School student |

"I love going to school here. There is so much to do. It's so different than other schools. I have 17 people in my class, so you have more one-on-one time with teachers. If I don't understand something, I just ask the teacher and she explains it to me." - Middle School student |

"I love the Academy because it's so much fun to go here. I can't really explain it. A lot of subjects are fun. My favorite is science. You learn all these different things!" - Lower School student |

"We get to go to Art Barn. We get to make sculptures out of clay, and then we paint them, and then we get to take them home. And we get to go on trips!" - Three Kindergarten friends |
