STUDENT LIFE: OUR CAMPUS
A student, who recently transferred to the Academy’s Upper School from a New York City school, said “I feel like I’m at a boarding school…without having to go away!” The typical Academy student arrives on campus before 8:00AM in time to eat breakfast with friends before heading off to classes. During lunch and free periods, the student might visit the Library to work on a research project, or attend a student-club movie screening or activity. After a busy day of academics, the arts, physical education and fitness training, the student usually remains on campus after dismissal for a play rehearsal, violin lesson, team practice or game, or to attend a social event. Not all learning takes place within the confines of the classroom. The Academy is located on a 12-acre college-like campus with outstanding facilities to enhance student life outside the classroom. Our unique college-like campus and outstanding facilities offer students an array of opportunities to explore and grow.
