Academy Community Saddened by the Passing of Prominent Alumna

November 1 , 2007 (Staten Island, NY)-- It saddens us to report that Wendy Shadwell ’59 passed away on October 23, 2007 in Cabrini Hospice, Manhattan, succumbing to cancer.

Miss Shadwell was a loyal alumna, long-time friend and supporter of Staten Island Academy. She will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held for her on Saturday, November 5, 2007.
