Grade 2 Student to Run Staten Island Academy! (For a Day)

(May 15, 2008) Staten Island Academy is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephane Mazzone ’18 as Head of School for a Day.

Diane J. Hulse and Stephane began the day with an overview of a typical day in the Head of School’s office. His introduction session was interrupted to take his official Head’s photograph. Stephane will be attending several high-level meetings with parents, administrators, his administrative assistant and students throughout the day. He will inspect the campus alongside Mrs. Hulse to make sure that all is in order.

After answering e-mails and various correspondences, Stephane will take a much needed lunch break with Mrs. Hulse before heading off to Alumni Hall to spend time with his classmates in Grade 2.

Stephane planned a special team-building exercise for his Grade 2 classmates to celebrate his tenure as Head of School.
