Staten Island Academy has been running a talented and gifted summer program for many years. It is a program designed to encourage gifted students to explore exciting topics in a relaxed, interactive, hands-on manner. Students take three classes each day and participate in the recreational activities afforded on the Staten Island Academy campus, including swim time at the pool! The classroom and recreational program allow bright students time to get to know one another and spend time with friends who share similar interests. Student progress in each class is assessed at the end of the three week period and reports are sent to parents by early fall.

Note: The class schedule will be based upon the preference of students who register before May1. Students who apply after this date may not have their course preferences accommodated.
Payment Schedule
The total cost of Staten Island Academy-TAG for summer 2013 is $1750.
- Due with application ($750 total ) :
- Program Deposit - $700
- Application Fee - $50
- Due two weeks from the date on the acceptance letter:
- Final Payment - $1000
Kate Meyer is the Staten Island Academy’s TAG Director. Ms. Meyer has been a classroom teacher for sixteen years and holds a certification in Talented and Gifted education.
