2008 SUMMER PROGRAMS Welcome Through the decades, Staten Island Academy Day Camp has continued to enhance and improve its outstanding programming. Each season, we update our state-of-the-art facilities with the latest technologies available, and this year is no exception. Our programming allows our campers to experience a wide variety of activities within a fun and nurturing environment. Successful programs already in place as part of the daily schedule include Discovery Science, Bike for Life, Multi-Media Computers and Instructional Swim. The air-conditioned game room is available to our older groups, along with the theater, art room and gymnasium. We are also very proud to again offer the Summer Institute for the Gifted for children in kindergarten through Grade 6. This is the third year the Academy has been affiliated with this academically challenging and fun program. Our Day Camp is much more than a place where children simply play. It is a community of dedicated people who care for and encourage children.
