STANLEY LIBRARY PROGRAMS

Parent & Child Book Clubs
The Stanley Library invites all students and their parents to join us for a series of book discussions. We are hosting these special gatherings for parents and their children to come together and talk about an assigned book.

For information contact library@statenislandacademy.org.

Student Book Groups
There is also an active Upper School student book group. This group of students meets 4 or 5 times each year to discuss a book of their choosing.

The distinctive glass cases flank the gateway to the intellectual and academic heart of the school with displays of Mrs. Stirn's favorite books, family photographs, memorabilia, and books purchased by the Stirn Memorial Fund. The Stirn family established the fund in 2003. More...
